Have had my PPO for about four months. I have never had insurance before and had not been to the doctor in 18 years and do not drink or smoke and no real problems to speak of. Once insured all my check ups were fine with the exception of heavy menses which I have always had, though they have been worsening over the last couple of years, are causing my to be anemic. My insurance carrier approved a "Nova Sure" procedure. During my pre-op and further discovery by my doctor led to a finding of probable Endometriosis and a need for a hysterectomy. Request was denied twice for hysterectomy and now the Nova Sure as well stating "pre-exsisting conditions. I have to wait until my policy is a year old.
